ABOUT ME!

As a child I love watching migrating Gypsies coming over in my home town and fixing broken jewelry or creating new ones. I spent hours watching them and was fascinated. Moving from mountains area of Transylvania to Eastern Shore in US was quite a change. When I bought my first jewelry pieces the seed was planted. If i didn't like it i try to modify it and I was always receiving compliments. I started making jewelry without any formal classes or training. Internet and anything i could find regarding jewelry making became my mentor.
I have a BS in Electronics and Applied Physics and that's how i came to love working with my hands, fixing little things. I am so eager to learn about new techniques and now beside wire wrapping i am doing cold connections and soldering. I set up a little studio in my home and started researching anything and everything jewelry. As I expand my knowledge, I expand my collection of tools and jewels and I have a great time just creating beautiful and unique pieces.

Moving from a mountain area in Romania to the Atlantic coast of USA, i fell in love with everything beach related. As a child I did not have many opportunities to go to the beach. Therefore, living at the beach was a true blessing. It enabled me to do my favorite things of walking on the beach, collecting shells, interesting stones, and ....sea glass. And this is how i discovered sea glass. Each piece of sea glass is truly unique, making each jewelry design one of a kind.
They are full of surprises, they have hidden stories behind their shapes, lines, colors, textures, patterns... All different, all beautiful and so meditative...
I combine them according to their shapes, colors, textures... Then I ask them what to do? They always tell me and I follow them :) Or sometimes I follow my heart.
The rest is history. I started my jewelry business as a hobby, designing for coworkers, friends and families.

My creations are handmade with sterling silver, in addition, I use Swarovski crystals, semiprecious, and precious stones, to make one of a kind pieces just for you.

I am an American/ Romanian and i want to bring something from my cultural background in my designs (soon to come collection).
